The venue may be the first thing on your list. Then comes food, music, decorations, invitations, seating, and all the little details no one thinks about until suddenly there are only a few weeks left.

Entertainment deserves to be part of that early conversation too.

A photo booth can look like a small piece of an event, but it actually does several jobs at once. • the overall style or feeling you want.

If your date is especially important to you, it is better to check availability early rather than design your entire party around a vendor and discover later that the date is no longer available.

Will they mingle?

Your party may begin at 6:00 p.m., but the booth cannot arrive at 6:00 p.m.

Equipment needs to be brought inside, positioned, assembled, tested, and made ready before guests begin using it.

That means your venue needs to know a photo booth vendor is coming.

Ask your venue about:

• vendor access;

• loading areas;

• elevators;

• stairs;

• parking;

• setup restrictions; and

• the earliest time vendors may enter.

These practical details are not glamorous, but they are what make event day feel easy.
